- ABSTRACT This paper shows results of the current research about the standardisation of the Wechsler Scales .WAIS III. Verbal Comprehension Index: Vocabulary, Analogies and Information Subtests (second part). In this opportunity we present results of 142 both gender sampled students form 25 to 34 years old belonging to tertiary and universitary educational levels and young graduates. The test administration was in a collective way and without limit time. There were no differences by gender. The average given scores show no differences between them and the data provided by the authors. The analysis of the present sampled scores for 25-34 years old and the given scores for 16-24 show increasing average values.

RESUMEN
La presente comunicación se enmarca en la segunda etapa del
Proyecto de Investigación para la Construcción de Normas para
los subtests que conforman el Índice de Comprensión Verbal de
la Escala de Inteligencia para Adultos de Wechsler, WAIS III, para
la ciudad de La Plata. Se describen los datos observados sobre
una muestra probabilística conformada por 142 sujetos de ambos
sexos, entre 25 y 34 años, estudiantes de nivel terciario, universitario, y graduados recientes. Se administraron los subtests de
manera colectiva y sin límite de tiempo. No se observaron diferencias significativas en función del género en los resultados obtenidos en las tres pruebas. El subtest más heterogéneo en sus puntajes directos es Vocabulario en ambos géneros y el rendimiento
es más homogéneo se observó en Información. Si bien la muestra
de este trabajo está integrada por sujetos que tienen mayor nivel
de escolaridad que la descripta en el Manual de la Prueba, el
promedio general de puntaje directo para los distintos subtests,
no difiere del promedio general publicado para este grupo de
edad. Al comparar los resultados obtenidos en esta muestra con
el grupo 16 - 24 años, se observó un incremento en los promedios de los distintos subtests.
