- ABSTRACT We hereby present partial results of the research called ´´Impact of migration on Mental Health´´, project approved and subsidized by integrating programming UBACyT 2008-2010. The aim of this work is to transmit partial results of the effects that migration can have on the psyche. The goal is to identify the impact on the psychic reality of the migrated individuals compared to non-migrated, through the application of Rorschach test (evaluated with the criteria established by the Argentinean School of Rorschach) and other specific instruments (semi-structured interview, for example). The Rorschach is an effective tool to evaluate the psychic structure and self-destructive aspects, both in patients and nonpatients, through the implementation of the Scale of Reality Ego Functions (EFYR) and the Scale of Adult Suicide (ESPA), respectively. The proposed intentional sample was originally composed of 120 cases (60 migrated and 60 non-migrated) being presently formed by 174 cases (105 migrated and 69 non-migrated migrated individuals).

(E.S.P.A), respectivamente.
174 casos (105 migrados y 69 no migrados).
