More precisely, it aims to outline the growth (history) of the a Argentine Association of Cognitive Therapy. Based on interviews to the professionals that introduced the cognitive therapy in our country, the authors aim to highlight the facts that favored this movement in our country.
RESUMEN
Este trabajo se propone describir el desarrollo de las terapias cognitivas en la Argentina. Más precisamente, tiene por finalidad delinear el crecimiento del organismo que reúne a los terapeutas cognitivos: la Asociación Argentina de Terapia Cognitiva. A través de entrevistas realizadas a los primeros profesionales con formación en esta corriente teórica, algunos de ellos fundadores de la Asociación previamente mencionada, se intentará destacar los hechos y factores que propiciaron la aparición de este movimiento en la clínica psicoterapéutica dentro de nuestro país.
